Volunteer With Us
Thank you for considering becoming a STHS volunteer!
It’s volunteers like you who help the ongoing success of the STHS, enabling us to help women and children as they learn to move forward and overcome personal trauma related to violence.
Volunteering with the STHS means contributing to crucial immediate changes for women and children, while helping to create a legacy of strengthened families and a healthier community.
Please join us, we often have room for more volunteers. Together we will help find the best way to incorporate your unique skills and talents. Volunteer opportunities are often available in these areas:
Practicum Placements
Boutique help
Companion work at Transition House
Special events and projects
Fundraising
Child minding opportunities
Driving clients to appointments
Resiliency program, sharing skills
Board members
If there is something else you may have interest in, let us know!
Important note:
